There is no proof that homosexuality is innate and unchangeable. Writer and speaker Dr. Scott Lively, founder of Scott Lively Ministries, made this assertion during the Aug. 14 episode of his Brighteon.TV program “Prophecy and Politics.”
Lively pointed to studies that showed there is no evidence homosexuals were born that way.
“There are heritability factors and other things. There are aspects of your physiology and emotional constitution that might make you more susceptible to homosexuality than someone else,” he said. “But there is absolutely no proof that it is innate and unchangeable,” he said.
Instead, Lively argued that homosexuality is a state of mind. According to him, the idea that “gender and heterosexual physiology is fluid, but the state of mind of sexual orientation is permanent and fixed” is insanity. He ultimately remarked that this idea is “Luciferian chaos” being injected into the human mind and spirit.
Lively said that the idea of homosexuality being innate and unchangeable stemmed from the teachings of German activist and lawyer Karl Heinrich Ulrichs. The so-called “grandfather of the gay rights movement” developed the third sex theory, which argued that male homosexuals were really female souls trapped inside male bodies. The same concept applied to lesbians which, according to the theory, were male souls trapped inside female bodies.
Nevertheless, the pastor said that the modern homosexual movement has its roots in the ideas of the French aristocrat Marquis de Sade of the 1700s.
In the modern time, the LGBT movement pushed the “born gay” hoax beginning in 1986. Lively said this push sought to make the public agree with the idea of homosexuality being immutable – using both judicial decisions and legislative measures.
“They tried every possible way that the could to prove that case – [from pouring] billions of dollars into scientific studies and every kind of effort you can think of, [up to] trying to find some way to make the case that homosexuality is innate and unchangeable. They couldn’t do it.”
Lively pointed out how the LGBT movement outlined its strategy in a 1987 magazine article and a 1990 book. These, he said, showed its intention to change society and re-engineer it on a program and blueprint that has the maximum public relations benefit for their side. The pastor and missionary stressed God’s warning for people not to embrace the LGBT agenda. He added that this societal embrace of homosexuality will trigger God’s wrath.
To bolster his warning, Lively cited 2 Peter 2:1-2, which touched on how this “gay theology” was a heresy that undermined Christianity.
“Now there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will secretly introduce destructive heresies, … bringing swift destruction on themselves. Many will follow in their depravity,” it stated.
The “Prophecy and Politics” host added that the infiltration of gay theology – which pushes the idea that homosexuality is normal and that God intends people to be homosexuals – is a blatant lie. With the way things are these days, Lively remarked that the world is close to the days of Noah and God will pour out His wrath soon.
